Anyone else watch it?

We love it! It's a bit shakey in some points, but I think a lot of their decisions with the show were smart for bringing them up to 2015.

I find it odd the amount of backlash it has had though. Even from friends on fb who I never felt were prudes.

Idk, yeah there are dirty jokes, but either a. Your kid won't get them because their are too young or b. your kid will get them because they are old enough to hear them.

I wouldn't fault any parent that is against their kids watching it, and complains about it. Obviously they don't know how far(adult-wise) they're gonna take the dialogue until they watch it.

The thing is, if you go to any of their live shows in Hollywood at the Jim Henson's studio they're adult and mature as fuck lol. Kids have enough programs to keep them mindlessly entertained, give me some updated nostalgia goodness

Maybe it is too large of a generational gap for people to remember, but The original Muppets Show was prime time as was its predecessor Muppets Tonight. It has always had mature jokes in one form or another tho.

I was not too sure of the new format at first but it has grown on me and I'm enjoying watching it a lot more. I think the first episode pushed the mockumentury style a little too much but it seems to have found a balance now.

It was an interesting change, but it's honestly nowhere near as bad as people are making it out to be in terms of being adult themed.

It's like Shrek, kids can enjoy it but adults will get more humor out of it.

I wouldn't go that far since it still seems to be aimed more for an older audience to me. But yeah, the people complaining are effin' crazy.

Yeah, the show has been pretty entertaining. The "adult" stuff is really tame honestly. It's pretty similar to Modern Family humour wise but without the overly sappy 'moral of the story' at the end of each episode.
