I'm trying to be somewhat fair with r/FFXIV but their reactions, moderation and way they seem to panic in the previous week is confusing as hell.

I'm not sure if Eanae is all to be blamed for this or if there's a divergence of opinion within their mod team that cause this.

Panic about what? I'm not the head mod and just moderate to our rules so not sure why the blame would fall with me. I was the one who caught more of the shit flinging starting at the end of work shifts today so I addressed it.

I wouldn't shift all the blame on Eanae. If anything Eanae's the most active mod on r/ffxiv and likely gets shit on the most because of that. If anything that post is a reassurance that nothing's changed and they're going by normal reddit policies.

Critique is fair game, but don't be like Nikki and shit over everything for no reason. Restate Reddit's self promotion policy, policy on third party tools, and the fact that you can filter out junk. My only issue was the removal of a link to a video that, while it contained Nikki's subject matter, discussed the terribleness of r/ffxiv (Which could be extended to r/wildstar, r/destinythegame, frontpage).

To be fair though, if we'd actually have had any interactions I would have shit on Eanae before FFXIV was even a thing so I don't know if that's it!
Low tier poster and likely low tier mod, makes sense in my mind!
