Last week:
M/L: 10-4
ATS: 9-5
Overall:
M/L: 67-38
ATS: 53-49-3
BYE WEEK: Buffalo, Jacksonville, Philadelphia, Washington
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29TH
8:25pm EDT, CBS/NFL Network
Miami at New England (-8) - Miami has outscored their two opponents 82-36 since firing Joe Philbin. New England is scoring 35.5 points per game this season. Over-51 looks tasty but Thursday night games can be sloppy so proceed with caution. I'll take Patriots to win, Dolphins with the points.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS AT 2:00AM ON SUNDAY
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST
9:30am EST, FOX
Detroit vs Kansas City (-5) at Wembley Stadium -
Chiefs win, Lions with the points.
1:00pm EST, CBS
San Diego at Baltimore (-3) - I'm pretty sure at this point the Chargers are trying to recreate the plot from Major League in the NFL. If they suck enough they'll move to Los Angeles, but through a montage of enough last-minute wins they'll sneak into the playoffs. Instead of praying to Jobu, we have Manti Te'o and his shrine to his imaginary girlfriend. And Phil Rivers is obviously Roger Dorn. It's November, so bet on the powder blues. Chargers in the upset.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (PK) - Large Ben should be back, and with Martavis Bryant looking good I think Pittsburgh is going to be one of the best teams in the NFL in the second half of the season. But this is 1pm Red Rifle we're dealing with here. Bengals in the pick'em.
Tennessee at Houston (-4) - It's the curse of Hard Knocks, but I still think Houston is half-decent. This line is baffling though, Tennessee isn't that bad. Texans win, Titans with the points.
1:00pm EST, FOX
Tampa Bay at Atlanta (-7) - Speaking of Tennessee not being that bad, they hung around with Atlanta last week. I think that says more about the Falcons crashing back to earth than anything. But they can still beat the Bucs, who were up 24-0 on Washington and farted away that game. Falcons win and cover.
Arizona at Cleveland (+4.5) - Joe Haden is back, but it won't matter. Cardinals win and cover.
San Francisco at St. Louis (-8.5) - I hope all you fantasy kings and duellers out there have bought stock in Todd Gurley, because he's the real deal. Rams win and cover.
NY Giants at New Orleans (-3) - The Saints have won three out of their last four, but I'm not buying what they're selling right now. And I like New York getting Jason Pyro-Paul back. Giants in the upset.
Minnesota at Chicago (+1) - I keep picking Minny, and they keep winning. You're welcome, Derock. Vikings win and cover.
4:05pm EST, CBS
NY Jets at Oakland (+2) - Man I can't believe we are getting a Jets Raiders Super Bowl. Jets win and cover.
4:25pm EST, FOX
Seattle at Dallas (+6) - Jerruh said a dumb but seemingly harmless thing about Greg Hardy, and everyone loses their shit. DALS. Seattle's much better than a 3-4 team and they get Matt Cassel. Seahawks win and cover.
8:30pm EST, NBC
Green Bay at Denver (+3) - Peyton might be dead, but that defense is getting points at home? I'm in. Fuck it, Broncos in the upset.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND
8:30pm EST, ESPN
Indianapolis at Carolina (-7) - Carolina's gonna pancake one of these weeks, but the Colts are really fucking bad. Panthers win, Colts with the points.
