ya don't get me wrong, i'm not expecting tier 1 TE numbers or anything. but denver's TE play has been horrific thus far. manning doesn't trust his best dude (last night the exception for green) and owen daniels is trash.

even if davis isn't the same guy the outlook still will be better since manning will have a decent short to intermediate target again and someone who'll ostensibly help with blocking. i literally would have been excited if the team had acquired any number of middling/average TE's

I agree he's an upgrade over Daniels. Just think it's silly to suck elways dick over this for now. Hopefully he pans out - I'd love to see a solid NE-DEN game or two. That Denver defense is awesome.
