Generally "generations" are defined by 20 year spans, millenials are like '80-'00 or '82-'02.
And yes, just like every other broad generational label, there's a range of experiences inherent in the span.
I was always amused by what seems like a complete lack of self-awareness when the previous generations criticize subsequent ones.
As if they themselves were not the ones that birthed and raised the next generation and dictated the world in which they now live.
i have always assumed that everyone who is not me is a moron
I've read that the newest generation is referred to as Snowflake because they are easily offended. Also, I believe 1980 is the last of Gen X.
I love the notion of younger people being so easily offended.
Not like the old days when people were only offended by stuff that mattered, like a black person using the main entrance.
yeah but endemic racism vs publicly mourning a gorilla for eight months
it's a close call which cohort has worse values
I refuse to believe anyone actually cared about the gorilla after like week 2.
They never cared about the gorilla, they just wanted the meme.
Harambe isn't just a gorilla!!!
You say that now, I'll see you in 1,000 years when Harambe has supplanted Jesus.
fuck. all these years and somehow im still surprised theres a picture for everything.
