I was getting over 80jp per hour at the tail end of capping blu solo in woh gates with 30% cape and rings, I don't think I could get half that rate anywhere in escha.

What spot in Woh Gates are you going to? What I've done in escha is camp the Gargoilles. You gather 4 + 0~2 aern sitting in the middle, and do 3x ja spells to kill them. The aern give about the same CP as the mobs in WoH, the gargoilles give about 1/2~2/3 although there are four of them per pull always. If you do it fast enough, you can keep the CP chain going. The pulls in Woh Gates were less ideal at the camp I was at. The mobs rarely grouped, so it was hard to consistently ja them. There was much less rhythm to what I was doing. With good timing, you could also keep the CP chain going there too though. Ultimately though there weren't enough mobs to sustain a huge group of players (there were a few times where I was waiting on repops.)

Hmmm so I just finished a cp session and went to test cp per kill after that cause I don't remember the amounts being that close. Killed some Aern near gargoulles with only my back and full time bonuses (so no ring or cor or kupofried not counting chains) was getting 700-850 base cp. Then popped down to woh basement with same character same setup killed the first mobs I saw some efts I saw killed some twits and then some Jagils was 1-1.1k. So maybe the per kill amount difference is bigger than you think?

that sounds similar to what I was making on aerns in escha when ring wore off. I'm at 370ish jp and have a 30% cp cape, all cp related RoEs done

Thing is you can go with a group in gates and not get penalized

The same thing applies to Escha zones.

They patched escha to have the same lack of penalty a couple updates ago. Escha has significantly faster repops, so a strong group with multiple members soloing their own mobs will do much better in escha than in gates.. there is almost no disengaged time and pure quantity will make up for the slight difference per kill. You run out of mobs at any gates camp with a competent group.

Apex still beats both easily, though.

No, the Escha change applied to both experience and capacity.

I mostly used the acuex/butterfly/worm/rabbit camp but there are plenty of good ones, the mobs were VT iirc compared to the DCs in escha. I could keep any camp cleared solo in escha ru'aun, best I found was phaubo/aern camp, but it still didn't compare for pure jp.

Did you, or anybody else, personally test this?
If we go by what SE said then

    May 2014 Version Update
    Spoiler: show
Experience point and capacity point acquisition is reduced when in parties. However, this reduction is lessened in the following areas.
Sih Gates / Cirdas Caverns / Dho Gates / Woh Gates / Moh Gates

    June 2015 Version Update
    Spoiler: show
Escha – Zi'Tah has undergone the following additions and adjustments.
•Experience point acquisition while in a party has been adjusted to be the same as in Seekers of Adoulin areas. As a result, experience point gains while in a party have been increased.

Not sure if I missed anything in between, but going from these patch notes, they specifically say the Escha diminished reduction only applies to XP, and was hotpatched in june (after the addition of Escha Zi'tah in may 2015) to offer players a way to ease up Silt accumulation (given how Silt is a % of XP).
Now... the fact that SE says something doesn't necessarily mean it's 100% accurate.
What I'm trying to say is: maybe they talked only about XP, but in reality that bonus applies to CP as well, when inside Escha zones, even if they didn't mention it.
    Is it possible? Sure.
But unless someone tested it, why should we assume it?

Yes, I've personally tested it, as did a number of other people back when they did it.

Allright, because my Pointwatch was giving me kinda different results when I added more members to my Escha pts when I did them some time ago, but I guess that was the result of other factors at play, and not the pt members reduction.

There's still a party member reduction in those zones, it's just much lower. It's something like 85% with 6 people, IIRC.
