My kids' costumes look like shit this year. Think I may need to retire the sewing machine until my kids are school aged and I don't have to rush like crazy.

Yesterday the library had a Halloween event. We are still taking them out on Saturday, too. It's not that strange for places do do things before Halloween so kids can still go trick-or-treating on Halloween.

Had a nightmare finding purple fabric that matches. His tie was put into a bow later on. I know it doesn't look great. Eh. Not much I could do.

lol yeah I know. Ultimately it's their fun. But I could have put my daughter in any of her princess dresses, and she'd smile just as much. I think I just am struggling because sewing was a hobby I enjoyed greatly. And I was super proud of my work for my daughter's first two years. Just everything is getting progressively worse, and that makes me sad that my talent is going away.

My company does something they call "Boo Bash" it's a Halloween event at everyone one of our stores for a couple hours to get a little candy and bunch of healthy treats one day during the week of.
