Re: flooding, the water has receded and the family's back at home, working on cleanup. I'm guessing some spots are still flooded, but the worst of it is apparently over. I'm not sure where this pic was taken, but I'd wager it's in Brownsville and not in Mexico.

And yes, my younger son's costume still has the tag on it, lol.

It was pretty slow this year. Used to be every house 10 years ago. Then it became 2/3 houses. Then every other house. Now it's like 1 house that gives candy out of 5. If I weren't jogging/making it a workout at the same time and walking like everyone else, I wouldn't have even gotten a third of that.

Funniest part of the night was when this indian kid came up and my friend asked who she was. I'm thinking, obviously she's Jasmine.

She says "Elsa" and I audibly spit things out of my mouth laughing.

Went as Bellichik for Halloween; cut sleeves off Pats hoodie, wore an old USB PS2 headset around my neck, and carried a ~10lb PSI deflated football.
