Yeah, I'm not a big fan of that either. If it's not an evenly split gender group, just set up a non-physical elimination like a puzzle or balance-based or something similar. They've got plenty of time to switch it out between the time that teams are selected and the time they challenge is run.

Yeah, having the mixed teams could add a nice wrinkle to the game (i.e. the water bucket challenge is a good example since Cohutta's chick was able to dominate), but as designed it's too much of a disadvantage since you are up for every elim.

Also, why are they acting like it's a surprise when they find out what sex of elim. it is? Isn't it just switching back and forth? And if it is known, that goes back to my point earlier that the other sex can just fuck off during that days event.
