I've never been to a therapist, but I would think "don't make it about you" would be pretty high on the list of rules for conducting a session.

Well to be fair the therapy to help people get over fears such as spiders is to introduce them to them gradually, pictures -> real -> touching spider etc. So in a way the therapist is helping this person to defeat their fear of trump. In the next session there will be a Trump cut out, followed by the real Trump shaking her hand and then her mind is made great again.
