if i remember right gender is used to refer to your "apparant sex" aka do you look male or female, sex is used for genetic (aka xx or xy), and gender identity or sexual identity is used for what you identify as (man or woman, thirdsex or other, etc)

so yeah, women of all genders simply means being inclusive of trans people as well, as not all of them have transitioned yet or even plan to for whatever reason. (money, risks of surgery, etc)

This is correct, and while some people may find her statement amusing it's a fact that trans people suffer from much greater rates of depression, drug addiction, homelessness, and suicide, and those problems are all very likely to increase dramatically under this administration.

There is no prototypical transgender experience. There is an endless variety of transgender bodies, an endless variety of transgender identities, and an endless combination of the two. It is not necessarily those who take low doses of hormones who identify between male and female. It is not necessarily those who take hormones who identify as transsexual. It is not necessarily those who have genital surgery who identify as 100% male or 100% female.
