If a student group on your campus requests to use facilities to host his speaking, the administration has to respond. They have to decide yes or no, they can't just ignore the request.

I don't disagree with this as he brings literally nothing to the table in regards to discourse or opposing ideals.

But watching protests/riots is entertaining so i'm stuck in an odd place. Ideally there would be an intelligent speaker that would also result in protests.

Interestingly enough pretty sure Milo is capable of such. I don't really follow or listen to him but have been linked articles in the past that were well written serious pieces. Yes, If you listen to his speeches or read his articles you get a much different perspective of the man than whenever he's in a buzzfeed article because of some riots outside his speaking arrangements. The man can be a shit disturber and based on which way you lean politically it'd be hard for me to explain this, but he's really only a shit disturber to the ones far far left who wouldn't hear his words no matter the tone or context, so what else is he to do other than poke them with a stick?

When his words are falling on deaf ears, what better way to get publicity for himself, and spread his message, than poking those he wishes to denounce(They poke at him plenty...)? I mean, he was speaking infront of what, 100 people at this Berk place where they rioted? Now he's spoken to millions, and his influence spread... and best yet, they think they succeeded in "shutting him down"...

Look, I think I'm at a point in my life where I can say that yeah, a dude may probably be 90% decent, but there's some things that don't fly. There is a crisis of rights for certain people in America, and certain individuals participate in activities that seek to undermine rights of others. That's pretty f'ed up, and yeah I don't think letting them spread their hate is ok. It's not punch in the face worthy, but sure as shit I support people peacefully protesting and shutting it down if possible. Does it stay peaceful? Protesting that is not wrong, and actively attempting to remove people from platforms and power who would have us not do such simple things as grant certain Americans equal rights is not something I'm against. I really don't understand why this has become the alt-right (or whatever you want to call it because I'm sure someone wants to nitpick this) main strategy. Find the people using extreme language, make the argument that the person or topic in question doesn't match the most extreme accusations, then call it a day. Like you've won.
