I don't disagree with this as he brings literally nothing to the table in regards to discourse or opposing ideals.

But watching protests/riots is entertaining so i'm stuck in an odd place. Ideally there would be an intelligent speaker that would also result in protests.

Milo should just keep trying to speak at universities and hopefully people keep trying to burn them down in protest.

Look, I think I'm at a point in my life where I can say that yeah, a dude may probably be 90% decent, but there's some things that don't fly. There is a crisis of rights for certain people in America, and certain individuals participate in activities that seek to undermine rights of others. That's pretty f'ed up, and yeah I don't think letting them spread their hate is ok. It's not punch in the face worthy, but sure as shit I support people peacefully protesting and shutting it down if possible. Does it stay peaceful? Not all the time, but don't blame me for the opportunists homey.

So to fight what you see as people who speak against the rights of others should be fought by ACTUALLY taking away those peoples rights? That don't really jive. Literally noone is saying to burn shit down. We're all opposed to that shit. Very few people are ok with punching Nazis. And those that did approve, still thought the attacker should be persecuted for it.

Yup, there were peaceful protests. And thus Milo spoke to the whopping 100 republicans at that school, wasn't in mainstream news and was for the most part ignored. When you respond to it with fanaticism, violence, or even just hyperbolistic screaming, you empower it. There are a lot of lessons to learn from the greatness of Civil Rights era protests, and the masturbatory clap-trap of the Hippie-era protests. The fact that the collegiate left seems to have not actually learned those lessons is part of why the right has been able to influence the dialogue as well as they have for so long. And it's entirely why Milo has any voice at all outside of Gamer Gate (and even that is largely just an extension of those same failed lessons).
