LotR is still one of my finer collection pieces. 1957 7th impression and all three are very lightly used. Absolutely terrifying what 1954-55 first editions/impressions sell for.

I envy you to an unhealthy degree for this. One of my classmates was a grandson of one of Tolkien's students, and had an inscribed copy of 2/3 of the Lord of the Rings (Fellowship and Return), one a first edition/first impression. Holding them was a moment of nerd reverence that I cannot hope to ever eclipse.

oh ya just wanted to circle back to this fuckboy comment. She's been nominated for album of the year 3 times lol. She's the Leo Dicaprio of Grammys. I'm not sure if she deserved to win any of them, but its hilarious to think that the music of the most nominated female artist in history (not winningest) is maybe just maybe not that good.
