But anyways the subject of age of consent comes with widely varying views and laws (heck some countries even have different ages for different orientations) that people feel really strongly about that few people can have anything approaching a calm and logical conversation about with the U.S. being one of the outliers of being even more conservative in that regard. I'd argue literally is worse since it's literally been misused so much that it's gained a secondary meaning that's literally the opposite.
