You stay strictly the definition says exactly. That said so what if people talk about sex with minors. It's a subject people can talk about though lumping the 2 together like that tends to show a lack of knowing differences in various age limits.

Being a minor is generally the age of majority which we consider a person to have legal control over themselves instead of their parents having it. This ranges from 15 to 21 depending on country. In the U.S. it's kind of weird because legally it's often defined as someone under 18 but in context of some things like gambling, tobacco, alcohol, drugs they still sometimes use the term minor but mean under 21 but we also have methods of emancipation and some varying levels of legal responsibility before 18 so some laws will actually specify Juveniles. Most countries have age of consent that are somewhat different from that. For example think Japan is the weirdest with the age of majority is 20 but age of consent is technically 13 (many provisions apply so don't go for it) but Marriageable age is 20 again lol (well a little lower with parent consent depending on gender. Yes parents can consent to daughters getting married younger than sons cause Japan). Really though just stick to the laws where you at.

As far as feelings. Fuck feelings. Also he's riding the publicity and loving it anyways

Deplorable man, but he's so, so right, and the content of this book has a lot to do with all the WINNING the Republicans have been doing as of late.

I respect the time you took to type this and I understand your stance to the best of my abilities, I appreciate your attempt to have a serious discussion admist this and i will try to do the same.

I do however disagree on one point.

When your talking about ruining someone's life and well being you better be real fucking accurate with your accusations. Do you not see how what you're saying and doing here is real close to how Trump thinks regarding Muslim?

I'm not arguing the misuse of the word should absolve them, simply that the crime or outrage they are accused is not accurate and the labels slapped on them undeserved.

Want to label PDP a tasteless twat? Cool. I can see your argument

Want to label Milo a shit starter with questionable, regionally illegal and questionably moral sexual tastes? Go ahead. 15/16 even as low as 13 has legal context so I'm not calling him a demon but I can see and understand why some would find this morally objectionable and I can agree.

But that needs to be clear. Milo is not a pedo and PDP not a Nazi nor white supremacist

I don't even want to argue for Milo, while I can agree with him on some things I find his shit stirring does more harm than good but the only thing making what he said illegal are lines on map. Again strictly legal speaking.

Idk what to add so I'll repeat, I see your point but this is exactly the place to be very specific in wording and labels, less your wants become indistinguishable in form than a blanket "terrorist" ban.

Yeah but life expectancy was like 50. So it's like how 12 months is 7 dog years 12 was basically 21 in 1900 years. Also 12 year olds could drink so it made things easier

This is where I would refer back to heuristics and say that coming to political discourse with moral high ground and specific, considered language is bringing a knife to the proverbial gun fight. Like I said, if you see people throwing "Nazi" and "pedo" at the wall and seeing what sticks, it's probably because we've learned from the best.
