Who the fuck is that.
Who the fuck is that.
crazy woman leading part of the womens movement that advocates sharia law on twitter
Some organizer responsible for organizing anti-MAGA protests.
Her tweets are...worded poorly, but she hardly advocates for sharia law. (from what i saw)
The mental gymnastics are much tougher to master.

Snopes tries its best to muffle the claims but then you get to her tweets and just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Did some google searching
Sounds like she's highlighting the one really good thing in her mind. She sounds like cray though.Sharia prohibits acceptance of specific interest or fees for loans of money (known as riba, or usury), whether the payment is fixed or floating. ... As of 2014, sharia-compliant financial institutions represented approximately 1% of total world assets.
Sukuk's are fucking idiotic and terrible. The entire fixed income world avoids them like the plague.
Wheres the business of loaning money if you cant make any profit off it?
The structure is ridiculously complicated and very hard to price effectively as well. It's hilarious because Bloomberg still models them with price and yield, exactly the same as a normal bond.

Emphasis is my own.Although some may argue that the differences between sukuk and bonds are merely technicalities, these differences matter to Muslims. In fact, the practice of profiting from money alone, at the expense of productivity and real people has been one of the drivers for many of the economic problems that have plagued the world in the last decade. Interest and artificial inflation of prices based on debt rather than on real value is the main reason why bubbles form, burst, and then lead to recessions and depressions. Sukuk, unlike bonds, are priced according to the real market value of the assets that are backing the sukuk certificate. Bond pricing is based on the credit rating of the issuer. This is necessary in the case of bonds because when you sell a bond on the secondary market, you are actually selling the debt in the underlying loan relationship. The sale of a sukuk on the secondary market is simply the sale of ownership in the asset.

Good NPR about it. Some business did it. I cant recall how it worked, but I think it basically was put into a trust, and the downside of it was that you werent allowed to borrow against it
My recommendation for the (Robert)Frosty Dickins(ons) as a replacement for Lord Jeffrey Amherst as mascot of Amherst College did not advance to the finals. Instead Captain Smallpox Blankets will be replaced by one of the following: the Fighting Poets, the Mammoths, the Purple and White, the Valley Hawks and the Wolves.
Even the alumni that voted to replace Captain Smallpox are panning the choices.
I can answer the question posed in the article.
Very little. You can do very little with it.
or or or... maybe it's a preference in the amazonian community and she *personally* finds the lack of armpit hair more appealing for *HERSELF*.
Well, I mean... pick your battles means nothing to the shotgun approach?
