Marvel sales had been crashing because of all the reboots and sequels of existing story line they had been pumping out. They made a Civil War 2, that was the exact same premise as CW1. DC is booming with all of it's diversity.

Also the only comics I ever read were predator/alien/tmnt with some bits of ghostrider,the mask, and the maxx thrown in. Also apparently the maxx is way darker than I had remembered as a wee 8-9 yr old. I feel like frequency and plethora of comic reboots are akin to if we had several new marvel/DC movies a week, I fail to see how anyone can keep up with them at all.

Marvels comic sales are dropping because they're making rehashed movies? Its in the fucking first paragraph of the article.

Despite forming the basis for the multi-million dollar blockbusters that have recently overtaken Hollywood, Marvel comic book sales have been falling.

The movies are doing just fine, its their comic book sales that are dropping, not Marvel's sales as a whole.

And, I dont know what the fuck you're smoking, but DC's "diversity" isnt booming all so much:

Compared to Marvel:

I took his post as Marvel as a whole.

Either way, its irrelevant: From what I could find here, I dont see much "diversity" in their top sellers. I see the usual male heroes. In fact, there literally is no diversity. Batman, Batman, Dark Knight (Batman), Suicide Squad (Batman-ish), Justice League (Batman), All Star Batman.

2-Its not even above the median Marvel film (61 > 60)
3-Perhaps you meant the mode, which would be 57, as thats the only value that repeats itself in the data set of 5?
