The correct / incorrect perspective on what KT did is up in the air for me. I'm sort of on the side of people saying "we'd need to know this game existed to be mad about it." It seems a bit like a shitty attempt to save face by KT.

That said, PlayAsia took the ball and ran with it. Regardless of why KT made their choice, cuz it really doesn't matter, it seems like PlayAsia wanted to poke the bear on twitter for laughs and it ended up exactly as they probably predicted.

Getting tons of backlash from people who aren't users or at least not frequent users of the site. Gaining converts from people who whack it to vidya (hey if that's what you're into, go for it). Probably a really smart business move overall for the type of company they are, with the added benefit of this shit being fucking hilarious.

Tl;dr I dont think there was any actual significant movement to directly impede DOAX3 specifically, but I don't follow KT or DOA so that's for someone else. There certainly is a lot of stigma in the gaming community about objectification though. PA gambling on being able to rake in more cash by pissing off SJWs than by playing it safe. Laughs had by all.

Edit: BIGGGG push on certain places on online to say that by tweeting this PlayAsia supports hate groups. Lol.
