Isnt TaiChi in the shit tier of martial arts?
Tai Chi can be moderately useful when combined with more martial-focused schools. Capoeira is just shitty leg dancing to some shitty BR goa music.
I really didn't know where to post this, since it fits in SO many threads but... here.

So apparently you can be a gigantic bitch to someone and get them kicked out of a gym. This is the world we live in.
Like, if you don't want him as a member of your gym, fine. Do that at the start. You don't let someone start shit with him, have him act correctly, and then punish him for it. That has horrifying repercussions.
Yep, this is the world we live in. Spencer can be a piece of shit, and someone that recognizes him can say they think he's a piece of shit. Free speech is fun.
Am I supposed to feel bad at how unfairly this particular piece of shit was treated?
Shouldn't have been "lifting" in a penis-free Curves gymzone.
why is she wearing a skirt. I would've laughed at her face. turned my music up and gone back to working out
He was obviously """"""curling"""""" in the squat rack while listening to HDNW - Horst-Wessel-Lied (Anthem Remix)
Trying to PR in squats and stuck in the hole? Nothing has you pulled up faster than a shrilling fatbody running up and telling you all about Pussy = Power and how white dicks are the downfall of Western civilization.
A business can refuse service for any reason though. The backlash your business will get for refusing to bake cakes for gay people will probably be greater than the backlash you get for refusing to bake a cake for Spencer.
Having said that, the gym should have revoked the membership for both people: Spencer if they truly refuse to serve a Neo-Nazi, and that girl for clearly being a disturbance to the gym-goers.
No shit?!She said the general manager of the gym had asserted Spencer's right to join the gym two months ago and had accused her of creating a "hostile environment" by confronting Spencer.
as far as combat goes Tai chi isn't really more than an introduction, from what i understand. it's useful in combat, but there's plenty of other schools that can "defeat" it.
as far as other benefits though, it's highly useful. it increases core strength, flexibility, and especially balance. I can testify to the last, as before i took that class i struggled to balance on one foot. even several years since taking that class however, i can easily do so for long periods of time and kick over my head. (before i could barely kick higher than my waist before losing balance. thats how bad it was.) it's also a form of moving meditation, so like qigong it has mental health benefits.
...sorry for the derail. I have a lot of good memories from that class. :D
Goddamn SJWs won't let Nazis go to the gym in peace![]()
You guys seem very upset about this.

I don't agree with spicy, but I wouldn't harass the man while he's lifting something heavy and putting it back down. If anything, I'd ask to spot for him and see what the man is really like. Kids nowadays =/
