Inner Anal Cavity
bisexual just means u go both ways, guys and girls. Pansexual takes it further as a more inclusive label by saying that they can find attraction regardless of age, physicality, or intersex etc. Basically running under the belief that bisexuals like most others still follow the normal paths of attraction and interest in regards to roughly same age group, attractive body, and not into 90+ year olds. Pansexuals say they are open regardless of you being an autistic 2 yr old or a fat 99 yr old, while in essence being nothing more than ur standard 16-24 yr old girl interested in bisexual play or open relationships.
So it's unrealistic bullshit. Gotcha.
i think you guys are overthinking it

my apologies to Panda, i was at the gym and only had enough time to google girls licking pans. all of the above explanations are how do you say, terrible.
there is sadly no gay panel that decides all things queer but pansexuality generally refers to people whose attractions are not contingent upon either sex or gender (though what Kinsey discovered many decades ago holds true and though sexuality be a spectrum everyone still has preferences). this obviously overlaps heavily with bisexuality, but it is in use because the bi prefix implies a dichotomous system; one's object of desire is either male or female. we know this binary system to be errant from the perspective of biology given the existence of X0 and XXY variants, and it is obviously errant from the perspective of societal and cultural construction which is by nature malleable. neither academically nor personally is having sex with children widely accepted as an aspect of pansexuality (no predatory paraphilia is), which follows the golden rule of consenting adults, and such propagations smack uncomfortably of the 'all gay men want to molest your children' propaganda of a less enlightened time.
but really the larger issue is that given the difficulties people with non-traditional boners face, the exponentially higher suicide, homelessness, and addiction rates among queer folk of any stripe, for one to react with demonization (they're pedophiles!), dismissiveness (just more snowflakes), and mockery (helicopters lol) rather than empathy and compassion indicates one should engage in some housecleaning of the soul before attempting to clear up the gender confusion of the 21st century.
It's not our place to ask why the Japanese make some people gay and not others, all we can do is trust that they know what they're doing.
I think the mockery comes about when ones sexuality is, seemingly, the defining characteristic of the individual instead of them just being a -sexual in society. Don't misconstrue that as people shouldn't be proud of their sexuality but I think there's a time and place for it. If you're in pride mode 24/7, everywhere, people will start to roll their eyes. The mockery also comes about when the sexuality is misunderstood by the people who consider themselves it. For instance, when I see bisexual dudes on grindr and I worm my way into their thought-process and find out they only fuck dudes, date dudes, want to marry a dude but they're "bi" cuz they think some chicks are hot or fucked one 20 yrs ago but never would again. Gurl please, you aint bi. You're gay.
I can't give people with no personal integrity compassion or empathy cuz I'm that type of asshole.
I agree with this part.
Whilst it is important to voice the need of being respected as equals by society(and protest even when necessary), there is - like in most things - people that just take it too far and by consequence demean the message(on a side note this is how I feel towards 'modern feminism' too..)
Labels are just a medium of communication, not an identifying factor of an individual, if you make it so then you're part of the problem. People who get sincerely offended because they get called the wrong x-sexuality really annoy me. Leaving alone the fact that there is so many of them that they are confusing to anyone who doesn't have a particular interest in psychology(like the above 'wtf is a pansexual'); but people need to understand that the important message is "equality regardless of gender and sexuality", not "let's make a list of unintelligible initials and force people to get it right or insult them".
I don't care about what bracket of sexuality I fall into, I care about who I am as an individual. And all individuals deserve equal rights.
