Dating websites are a weird crossroads for me on when and where its appropriate to instantly label something as 'racist' as if it's fully negative.

You can't say race isn't important in dating because that is reductive, but to swing the other way and say what I can and cannot pursue in my dating life is a bit pants on head crazy to me as it doesn't actually address the underlying racial issues the person may or may not have, It just "wills" away the visible racist behaviours (and then the behaviour just becomes covert).

But then again, people do model their behaviours off of others and if it's popular and cool to say shit like 'Masc4Masc' or 'NoFatsNoFemmesNoAsians' then that shit spreads like wildfire with the basics.

E.g. I have had a bad string of interactions with fellows from the South American continent. With my current volition, I've no interest in pursing anything with someone from that area, and would seek people who have more similar values (e.g. western born people) at this time. I'm basing my dating decisions on race.
This might change again (of course it will, that S.American booty will be the death of me), but right now I'm making dating decisions based on race. It's impossible not to in our lives.

Now if I was a company or a professional limiting or changing my service based on race, obviously that deserves condemnation....but someone's personal dating life? Sorry I'm not into Asian guys right now (unless you're Korean/Vietnamese guy; or a Japanese girl).

Governments have strict rules on where and when they can regulate people's behaviour (home vs in society), we don't try to police thoughts.
