It's sad when you realize the mobility scooter guy was completely abandoned by the camera crew. Pretty sure there was an article saying he was stabbed too.

at the risk of disrupting a classic sitting around sucking each other's dicks BG echo chamber, does anyone have statistics regarding the link between European crime rates and refugees from the present crisis? a statistical background renders me congenitally disposed to regarding anecdotal evidence with suspicion no matter how well youtubed and i'm having a very difficult time locating any kind of quantitative analysis of the correlation.

so far the only studies i've been able to find on the interwebs about the link between crime and refugees in Europe come from time periods predating the present influx, and this single German report claiming crime rates have remained level

    http://www.dw.com/en/report-refugees...any/a-18848890

but, a statistical background renders me congenitally indisposed to regarding a single study as definitive, especially a classified one that stems from a government organ where political pressure may be marring the fidelity of the numbers. moreover German rates may not reflect Swedish or Macedonian rates, the claims do not discriminate between say, Syrian and Iraqi refugees fleeing war and other economic refugees, or crime rates between unaccompanied males and people who come with families. the overwhelming paucity of data makes trying to draw solid conclusions problematic, to put it mildly.

Good luck, those governments are doing all they can to make sure that kind of information isn't readily accessible. I would assume that would be because it doesn't follow their narrative.

Looking around at other articles on that site, it would seem that is more than likely the case. The article you linked presents no data (whether real or falsified) and that article pertains to refugees being great people. Articles written about Germans being terrible hate mongers all include data.

the dossier it is claiming to quote comes from an internal study by the German Federal Police who classified it, ergo no data-set.

It's to keep you safe from the scoundrels on the street. If you spent all your money getting there, you won't have lots to be mugged on arrival!

Even if rates aren't crazy or anything you'd still definitely want to screen out the people depicted in these incidents

I can't find anything about overall European crime statistics that's recent on Pubmed. Looks like the last major data compendium was put out in 2012 (maybe with an update in 2013). This was the closest I got, and it's not really addressing what you're interested in.

    This.

I don't really understand Andus point. These respective countries are not watching out for these immigrants backs, they're there to watch for their own citizens, and if taking in refugees only contributes to violent crimes of any type, ease of entry for future terrorists, or ease of access for immigrants looking for better economic opportunities why continue to take them in when it only hurts their own tax paying citizens?

I'm all for helping those in need, but is now really the time to be taking in this many people from that part of the world? My answer used to be yes, but then those Paris attacks happened. I'm not comfortable taking proven risks with our or our allies security in order to bring in a people who have already demonstrated difficulty assimilating into our culture.

If it took the Paris attacks to open your eyes, you weren't paying attention to the subtle, but precise, culture war that Muslim immigrants were inflicting on many European countries for at least a decade. They've got the long game down. They know how to subvert democracy from within by staying united and bringing people into the fold. They employ a lot of the tactics that hasidic jews use when taking over communities, but their takeovers are far more devastating because of how they encourage and embrace converts. It starts with a small group entering a community (<5% of the total population in it). The first foothold for power is getting the rest of the community to walk on eggshells around them by playing the bigotry trap card. Nothing gets a majority opinion to stfu like being accused of racism. After that, they're free to keep pushing boundaries, because whoever tries to speak out against them is immediately silenced by PC backlash. This is when they start infiltrating positions of influence. Government positions and especially school boards. If you teach an entire generation that you're the "religion of peace", even though you're the exact opposite, you've essentially won. It doesn't take very long from this point to have either a true majority voting bloc, or a majority when people bludgeoned into believing your "good" intentions are included in order to start effecting real political change. And thus begins the slow downward spiral into theocracy. Anti-blasphemy laws are almost always the first thing to go into place. Just have a google of how many European countries have anti-blasphemy laws in place, and you'll see exactly how dire the situation is.

You realize most, if not all of the European anti-blasphemy laws were instituted decades, if not centuries ago, and were not implemented because of anything to do with Islam, right?

    i don't even know why i bother

Honestly I kind of feel more bad for the "good" refugees than the actual citizens of those countries. You saw how irritated that one guy was in the vid about it because he knows the bad are quite possibly ruining it for him when he is I presume partly there to avoid that kind of shit. Meanwhile the citizens... not to victim blame but well they did kind of ask to be flooded with all kinds or at least vote in people that decided that.

Thats not entirely fair...every president/prime minister has their pros and cons (except Trump lol). In Canada our options were Trudeau, who wants to bring in refugees, or Harper, who has been in charge for about 10 years, who was starting to do damage to Canada, was very "anti-enviromntalist/science" (he issued gag orders preventing scientists from discussing their negative findings), and a bunch of other shit...a good chunk of Trudeau's votes were mostly "anyone but Harper".

I agree with a lot of what Trudeau wants to change, but he also seems to be focusing on appealing the SJW crowd: "a diverse cabinet consisting of 50/50 males and females, diversity among races in his cabinet", bringing in the refugees just because "its right", etc etc.

I'm aware that many of the countries that currently have laws on the books have them from long ago. However, in almost all of those countries, the laws were as antiquated and unenforced as our sodomy laws that are still on the books. That was until recently for some of these countries, anyway.

If you want more reading, this is a decent article that I skimmed and hit most of the main points I had in mind.
