You can be free to do what you want but by the same token others are free to see you as they see you and not as you see yourself

You can be an effeminate male who is afraid to just admit they are gay, but I will still consider you a male.

Lots of trans people are "transbians" though, as in they are straight males who become women who like women

To be fair, that's probably true of any political issue with Internet clout besides maybe feminism. Police brutality, gay rights, middle east war, etc.

I read this as trans dwarf issues, which is probably a pretty difficult set of issues to be fair

Pretty sure it's doubly true of the issues the feminist movement actually focuses on.

Ehh, the extremist "everything is rape culture" groups, maybe. But things like male gaze/female objectification arguably effects all women, which is roughly half the human population. And I'm not sure there are quite 3 billion individual's views on feminism stated on the internet quite yet, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we're close.

Science journalism says things about the brains of the transgendered without linking to any of the papers it references, all while phrasing the title of the article as a question for bonus science points.

I don't doubt the possibility that types of neurological abnormalities may be responsible for or related to gender dysphoria, but Scientific American is hardly scientific.
