Totally ignorant question, sorry: do we know that brain scans between a severely delusional person and a regular person aren't different? Because if a severely delusional (or insert whatever mean-word that transphobic people use about trans people and their brain) brain and a regular brain reveal differences in a brain scanner then... yeah.
And another: aren't a lot of these 'brain scanner' headlines basically bullshit? Didn't they do the same with "your brain on marijuana vs not" and meth? Neither of which at the time could have any observable effects based on the precision of the instruments used. Like, me measured in some of these things would likely be radically different even an hour apart. So, what kind of scans are they doing in these trans brain vs normal brain tests? And are there control tests done to ensure that it isn't bullshit science done just for a cool little headline?
At the moment, our imaging technology isn't advanced enough to be able to tell much of anything about a person purely from a scan. Something that the more honest science articles mention is that scientists can't look at a scan and tell you if it's a "female" or "male" brain with any reasonable degree of accuracy yet. When you combine that little tidbit with the fact that these studies providing "evidence" that trans brains match their identified gender all have sample sizes in the low double digits (the one mentioned in Archie's link has ~40), it becomes plainly obvious that we don't know shit about shit when it comes to the brain.
People that are researching this stuff all very clearly have an agenda. They're out to prove that being transgendered has some root in biology/neurology, as opposed to being pure delusion. Any research that isn't plainly pro-trans is highly radioactive due to the political climate in our universities these days. People aren't willing to risk their careers over something like this. Just look at this scathing article about someone who dared to agree with someone else who thinks that the science isn't quite in, and that we might be jumping the gun by being super inclusive of people when we're actually enabling their delusions. http://www.advocate.com/commentary/2...-trans-scandal These kinds of political weapons have a chilling effect on the research that's willing to be undertaken, and science is worse off for it.
fMRI research is pretty bullshit, bit it could probably answer this question.
1) scan a bunch of people doing some task that is thought to differentiate males and females
2) build a classification scheme that can sort the male's and females apart(validate it using some fraction of your data set that was not used to make it.)
3) scan trans people and see where they fall (for this task)
Scanners are expensive to run and the experiment would be useless, though, so I somewhat doubt it has been done. It is not like doing the experiment and showing trans people group by sex would make them less trans. Similarly showing they group by gender would not make transphobes believe. Just a dead end experiment that wastes scanner time.

Hamilton to remain on the $10 bill in all his bastard glory, Jackson getting moved to the back of the bus with Harriet Tubman getting placed on the front of the $20 bill. Tubman was an escaped slave who ran back South a dozen times to help other slaves escape to the North, served in the Union army during the war as a nurse and scout, and championed women's suffrage following abolition.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...mepage%2FstoryThe U.S. Treasury has decided to put African-American abolitionist Harriet Tubman on the front of the new $20 bill, replacing former president Andrew Jackson, who will be moved to the bill's reverse, Treasury officials said Wednesday. Alexander Hamilton will remain on the front of the new $10 bill, officials said, after the Treasury department encountered fierce opposition to its initial plan to remove the founding father in order to make way for a woman to appear on the paper currency.
The Treasury hopes to release the design concept for the new bills by 2020, the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in the United States. Citing unnamed sources, CNN reported Apr. 16 that the soonest the new $20 bill would be issued is 2030. But a Treasury spokesman called that speculation "baseless," saying that Treasury is working with other departments to expedite the process, but that it's too early to say when the release date will be.
I think the smart move would be to take people off entirely. Seems stupidly outdated.
They should be replaced with portraits of dogs
They should be replaced with memes.
$1 doge, wow much money
$2 ayyy lmao
$5 can be that picture of the black girl turning her neck while doing a wtf hand gesture of some sort

tl;dr a group of mostly black women from a book club are on a wine train and being loud. Were asked a few times to quite down. Then when they didn't got kicked off for it. Claim it was just because they were black and sue for millions. As far as I've read it's all we said/they said. So they manage to get a settlement out of it probably because fighting this would destroy the company
fuckin white people innit?

It still astounds me that we live in a world where people are dying from starvation and lack of access to clean water, and we (most of us here) live in a country where there are people living in terrible poverty, occasionally dying in the streets, but "cultural appropriation" is the shit these fucking morons are concerned with. Jesus I wish they'd grow up and realize that there are way, waaaaaaaay more important things happening to care about first.
