idk but a quick google would reveal that they are constantly deleting accounts. so perhaps they just make new ones and then sometimes anonymous hacks them before twitter deletes them? idk i dont have all the answers but i wish i had all the answers but one thing is for sure: google has some answers

The author of that article is being more than a little disingenuous. The point of the canary in the coalmine is that it serves as a warning to others, not simply that it dies. He, a gay man, is warning that free speech is being actively undermined by the regressive left in their campaign to put feels over reals. You should also remember that Milo is a guy that has openly stated that gay people are more intelligent than straight people across the board. It's unsurprising that he would bring up his homosexuality while in the process of falling on the sword (not a gay euphemism). He considers it a point of pride, and works it into damn near everything.

Edit: I should also add that nowhere in the quotes in that article did Milo say anything about it being because he's conservative. The author of the article was literally making claims about Milo's beliefs without backing them up.

Actually no, he was silenced for being a prominent voice of reason that habitually eviscerates SJW bullshit. And like I said, he very clearly wasn't saying he was silenced *because* he was gay. Did you even read anything I wrote?

A canary in a coal mine is an advanced warning of some danger. The metaphor originates from the times when miners used to carry caged canaries while at work; if there was any methane or carbon monoxide in the mine, the canary would die before the levels of the gas reached those hazardous to humans.

Literally exactly what I said. The important part of the analogy is the warning, not the dying. And like I said regarding his homosexuality, he's using an appeal to authority because he believes he's more intelligent than most people simply by virtue of being gay. It's essentially "trust me, I'm gay." That is retarded, and you can feel free to mock him for that stupid belief.

If pointing out why SJW nonsense is bullshit is "dehumanizing" to you, then you're exactly the reason Milo acted the way he did. There's nothing that takes the steam out of an agenda faster than reductio ad absurdum, and claiming that what he says is "dehumanizing" is just plain fucking absurd.

On the first point, I see what you're saying, and I think we more or less agree but are using different language to express our viewpoints. Regardless, his gayness is irrelevant and him bringing it up is stupid. It makes it sound like he feels attacked for being gay, or that his viewpoint is special because he's gay, either one of which are laughable in this context.


On the second point: content vs. tone. His content is about SJW bullshit - fine. I respect that, and I even agree with some of it. His tone, however... look, I've seen him and Steven Crowder (my other favorite conservative) say things that make a lot of sense and are fairly well-said. And I'm with them, or at least I can understand their viewpoint. But inevitably - inevitably - it devolves into insults, mockery, and a whole bunch of mean-spiritedness that is not only unnecessary but actually dilutes the message itself. Voice of reason he may be, but when that voice is shrill and contemptuous, it doesn't make me want to listen.


Call me a middle child but I like to see people working together to find common ground, and people like him - as well as many SJWs, they aren't angels either - just make me sad for the human race.
