Exactly.
Communism.
"A guarantee of rights for working citizens being necessary to the economy of a free State, the right of the People to form labor unions shall not be infringed."
That slope is covered in grease. By that logic, anything is sexist or racist or whatever-ist.
The top rapper right now is white, the rap industry is racist!
There are no female athletes in the top 4 professional sports, thats sexist!
Minors arent allowed to smoke or drink alcohol, thats ageist!
Clearly it's Eminem.
who knew Kendrick was white this whole time
Obviously he's talking about 20-time best rapper champion Sage Francis.
Well duh, have you ever seen a black swimming pool?
Sports are interesting look at that though. Because while the sports themselves don't discriminate ones access and exposure will vary greatly ones upbringing. So while swimming doesn't care the color of your skin or your socio/economic status you'd be surprised at the number of African-American people I met in bootcamp for the NAVY that hadn't seen a body of water bigger than their tub and as such couldn't swim at all.Though in that case it most likely has to do with poverty hindering easy access. Meanwhile the guy we had actually from iirc Mozambique did just fine
When I lived in Miami, I talked to a middle school teacher at an all-black (basically) North Miami public school who took his students to the beach for a field trip. Kids would get in the water and were like "why is it salty?"
Because they'd never been to the beach before. In Miami.
to be fair, the fact that Macklemore exists and is famous is kind of a sign that the rap industry is a little racist.
also worth noting the vast majority of folks learn swimming from their parents and large parts of the country banned black folks from swimming at public pools for most of our country's history, and the legacy of that discrimination lingers today. a study done by USA Swimming found 70% of black children couldn't swim and of the 30% that could nearly half had to teach themselves.
it was also interesting to note 42% of white and 58% of Hispanic youths couldn't swim either. i know i'm biased coming from coastal California where it's kind of shocking to find someone who can't swim, but i never would have imagined those numbers would be that high.
Yeah I am from the coast in MA and the thought of people not being able to swim blows my mind
