On the "National intersex day" I made a comment on a friends post about saying, paraphrased: "I think the transgender movement needs to focus on other things than the binary system we use for passports. This person (in the example picture posted) needs to choose a gender for now and eventually the movement will catch up with them. But you're not going to get it all now, so you need to focus on the bigger issues at hand first."
TL:DR - Responses were I'm no "ally" to transgenders, check my privilege, I'm not allowed to tell an oppressed person how to act...and this all came from a straight white male friend of my fb friend.
A week or so later the Housin anti-discrimination bill gets rejected heavily, and I just wanted to go "see, you got far more important shit to worry about in this movement than your passports checkbox, ya stupid fucks." But I haven't...yet.
