Game over, fellas, game over: tl;dw: youtube censoring shit left and right, but mostly right. That is, anti pc/sjw/blm, bullying, etc. etc. It's been happening for a while: Argon, Undoomed, Thunderf00t, etc., but now it's affecting bigger tubers.

I'm assuming I'm not getting spaced here but...

It's not really a matter of censorship, but more that youtube is potentially pulling some people's livelihood away with literally zero warning. The new guidelines they added are so broad that even people like pewdiepie could get all their advertising and monetization pulled. Shit you can even extend to a huge amount of the music videos on there.

The turn around the last year from Google when they "became" Alphabet and removed the "Don't Be Evil" corporate motto has been interesting.

Google is fundamentally an advertising company. The tech products they put out are to keep you in their ecosystem so that you will be subject to their ads and they will get to collect your data so that they can better serve ads to you. Advertisement is how they make money, so everything else is ancillary. What this move says is that there are not very many people willing to pay them to advertise to the demographic that likes those videos, and there are at least some people that would object to having their videos shown there. They are, thus, not going to pay people for the right to host their content when it doesn't break even for them. This ends up being a deterrent for the content producer, but Google doesn't lose money.

If you think Google is going to fuck around with their largest revenue stream (targeted advertising) because they're PC crusaders, I'm sure Capitalism would like to have a word with you.

The "they're only doing it for economic reasons" argument breaks down after you realize that A) economics is not a hard science, and B) the people in these companies making decisions are not educated mathematicians or well-learned logical thinkers. By making this argument, you're saying that the video game companies that have continually given in to SJW demands, despite the complete lack of SJWs in the demographics of people that actually buy games, are doing it because they're somehow making more money as a result.

Tl;dr - the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and SJWs make a hell of a racket.

Some tubers talking negatively about politicians/foreign nations i.g. NK/Kim Jong Ung Lao have been flagged too. Next thing ya know, y'all won't be able to talk shit about Satan, I mean Hillary or BG'S FAVORITE presidential candidate and future president of the U S of A, Trump.

thank god you'll still be able to beg tourists for money from under your bridge. Once they take that away we can really start to worry.

I think he's kinda good-looking but I find him absurdly annoying and I honestly am not sure why

in any case I'm ok with this one instance because I really don't like him. I'm a terrible person that way
