Are people getting any good chains out of the exp/CP PLUS thing?

not really, soloing acuex in woh gates blm, around 300 JP currently (+17% CP), CP back +48%, mostly all of the bonuses possible from RoE (maybe one or 2 reives i lazied on), all rhapsody KI and stuff, 4565 CP chain 23 without ring, 4800 chain 26, then broke due to an elemental aggro.

but really not on par with what i expected.

My guess is it's just 2-3x what the bonus for the chain is. So like 1.1 would be 1.2-1.3

Seriously, what setup did you guys use to solo this?

Uh... well, I have access to a dualbox Idris, so that might have helped. Went THF (mythic) GEO Apru Geesho Koru-Moru and Karu and just got luck I guess. Indi-Haste and Geo Frailty at start, swapped to Geo Vex after taking a couple Firaga III's. Stole Blaze Spikes right off the bat with Aura Steal, Koru seemed to stay on top of dispels for the rest of the fight.

I've gotten upwards of 20,000 CP on trash mobs in Reisenjima, with Trizek Ring.

I've come in just shy of 30k with Facility Ring.

The last time I looked at it, capped capacity chain was 1.5x base. Now it seems to be more like 3x base.

You making that page made me realize just how annoying the damned horn is. Duration +50% but no March +4 from G-horn. Obviously without someone getting it we can't know the potency, but lacking that March+ is a pretty big hit. IIRC Champion's was assumed to be 128/1024 due to the pattern, but Honor would have to be at least 160/1024 base just to be as good as Victory March due to the lack of G-horn.

On a different note:

The "Feast Most Dire" event is fairly simple. You don a Wyrmking suit, and go and fight a Wyrm, alongside some Moogles. In Sarutabaruta, it's Tiamath, but it could change in different zones.
It's basically a giant reive/Domain Invasion. There's about five minutes of fighting, where you can fight, cure and nuke the wyrm, before the moogles finish it off.
You get evaluations as the fights go on, and can average about 500 points a fight.
+1 suit is 500 for head, 500 for body. 99 fireworks for 200 points. Kupofried for 1000.

Once you've got the +1 suit (both parts), you get the ability to buy "Invitation to a feast most dire" for 800.
Kupofried says it's where a "malignant monstrosity awaits", and it's in one of the three BCNM areas by the cities.

What were you doing to get 500 a fight? I went in from start to finish on a spawn, auto-attacking as Thief and got 55 points.

You have to heal the moogles and take damage. So stand infront of him to eat breaths and heal yourself, otherwise heal the moogles. Should be around 500 per fight.

Fail Not is 330 damage, if they don't raise RME to match it will crush every other bow in the game. Having to use Apex Arrow isn;t really that much of a drawback either, before you could get Jishnu's on anything it was the best archery WS you could get without RME and it's still not that far behind.

Also, I had a thought that the Aeonics might have a WS damage + effect on merit WS like relics and mythics have on their WS.

I'm not liking Aeneas much, I don't like the "high damage and high delay" thing SE has been doing with THF weapons the past couple years. Some of them are pretty much just swords with the label crossed off and a post-it-note stuck over it with "dagger" written in pen.

Same happens to avatars. We've never, ever been able to target pets with anything AFAIK, so it was a given that the BST change would break things.
EDIT: Curing Waltz affects avatars. Obviously this is SE's way to get BSTs to stop weapon swapping.
