    And this is when we just zerg it like you mention, chainspell is at 49% as well as if you go too fast neak will stop bothering to cast nukes.

    Escha Beads are acquired by defeating Notorious Monsters in Escha zones.

    Initial maximum amount of silt a player may hold at one time is 5,000.
    With the purchase of the Eschan urn Key Item, this maximum is raised to 25,000.
    With the purchase of the Eschan cellar Key Item, this maximum is raised to 50,000.
    With the purchase of the Eschan nef Key Item, this maximum is raised to 50,000,000.
    This is wrong right? I'm still capped at 50k with nef ki, so gonna change that unless I'm missing something else.

    EDIT:
    A new key item, the eschan nef, has been added.
    The eschan nef can expand your carrying capacity to one billion silt and fifty-thousand eschan beads.
    So even with nef, the cap is still 50k.

    These caps are for SILT and not BEADS. So ya someone bade an error writing that.

    Bead cap is indeed 50 000 at the moment.

    So people on FFXIAH talking about hidden messages that are invisable in English client.
    This one basically providing stuff that isnt shown in game at all on english.
    About it being a 60 minute KI.
    Makes one wonder how much is hidden.

    If you're talking about the KI that allows repeat NM spawns, the NPC says it lasts an hour. Or at least the one Ru'Aun does.

    I also don't see that translation implying that you shouldn't use brews, just that the effects of the brews can't be relied upon. From our perspective, that means their duration is short. Abyssea or even WoE never did a good job of explaining the Brews themselves, they were just kind of there. Not that this does much better in a tutorial sense.

    About Neak: is his resistance only related to Discordant note? Or is there an additional one related to how many/how often buffs have been been absorbed with Voidsong?
    (range on Voidsong is 30ish btw, range on Meteor is 25 instead)

    Voidsong is dispel not absorb, and I am not sure if those ranges are quite right. It is quite easy to out of range through a slight height advantage on both meteor and voidsong. With voidsong actually being the easier one to out of range. Note is the only move where we would see any damage reduction from. Also even if stunned it will continue to spam it till it goes off.

    I didn't test the ranges myself, but my BLMs standing slightly above 25 yalms weren't getting hit by meteor and could still cast on Neak.
    A COR reported >30 yalms for Voidsong. Another guy reported getting dispelled at 27.2 yalms.
    Pretty confident on the Meteor because I saw those people casting and not receiving damage myself.
    The 27.2 report could've been caused by lag instead (i.e. it said 27.2 on his client, but he was still under 25 server-side)

    It felt like extremely long range the first time we did it on flat terrain also, but there are a few spots, specifically the ??? near #2 and the far ??? in porxie camp at #4, where you can stand as close as 17-18 and not be touched by either meteor or voidsong.

    But yeah, Neak is by far the easiest of the Tier3. Even when I 4box it with PLD/GEO/SCH/BLM it dies in 4 skillchains MBing Thundaja>Thunder6.

    25 from Neak or from the target of meteor? Because every mob meteor I've seen is targeted and therefore distance is based on distance from the target

    Isn't Porxie camp on top of map, in the middle between #3 and #5? With several Hyppos closeby.
    Or are you talking about a different one?

    How exactely were you avoiding Voidsong on casters, height difference?

    Meteor shouldn't be an issue. With buffs it does silly damage and regardless Neak should be silenced.
    Voidsong is what I'm more interested in avoiding.
    The BLMs who talked about 25 yalms away were probably measuring 25 yalms from the target, i.e. Neak, not 25 yalms from the tank.

    If i remember correctly, Neak's meteor only seemed to hit the party of the current target, or vice-versa, the geo in our party was with the tank and always said he didnt get hit by it, even though he was on top of it.

    It was more then the current target pt getting hit we had at least 2 out of 3 pts hit by it. All 3 might have got hit but one had a whm in it curing, and I was trying to help cure other 2 pts. Definitely hit the alli though on more then one occasion. I was 20.5 from mob and getting hit (not sure how far tank was from me I was on geo nuking (geo nuking range sucks btw lol) and throwing emergency cure to alli getting hit by it, so was not watching distance from tank but he seemed further then that). BLM were able to stand 25 from mob and not get hit but geo could not stand that far back cause of the nuking range geo has, which is way less then blm.

    Geo's nuking range is not any less than BLM unless you're trying to use -ra spells. I've stood out of range of meteor and voidsong along with everyone else and nuked just fine for Neak.

    I wasn't on GEO myself on our attempts so I can't say, but our GEOs were claiming the luopan casting range was inferior to the spell casting range.
    Think Cyleena probably meant that, not the nuking range in itself.

    The JP log for the quest says "primeval brew, dame" which I think truly means "no good". I believe if the kills/title are obtained through brewing, it will be invalid and not count towards aeonic quest.

    That makes me think that SE is planning on giving a way to make brews cheaper. At 11 million silt, making brews unable to be used for Aeonic clears is supremely useless.

    Think that only applies if the target is a pet/npc

    Generally my thought on it. Make something that expensive and a person can't even use it in a scenario they'd most likely be tempted to? (Unable to reliably find the manpower for the NM(s) they need)

    Really one of those questions someone needs to get out onto the OF if it hasn't already.
