PLD most likely held all the adds while the RUN held the main NM with 3x Gelus runes etc
Attempted Teles again today at #6 warp, J-7. There is down slope towards the river, which can be easily utilized to avoid Clarsch, we found it easier to take advantage of elevation here, than #2 warp. We used PUP tank to avoid charm moves but in the process we found out that the puppet is immune to her death spell (seems to be a bug).
Didnt' see this mentioned, she sometimes cast cure VI on herself for around 13k HP.
Avatars are also immune to certain instant Death attacks (Death spell, Deadly Glare, Death Prophet...) since few months.
How good pup tank was on Teles? Any hate problem?
Hate is clumsy as others have reported. Needed 2nd tank to position her and emergency voke/flash if she "decides" to go after mages. Besides that pup can tank well with little support, granted that she's in the right position. I had Companion's roll which helped. Probably need pet cure temps only for dia aura phase.
It might only be some pets with some moves and such. Had Death prophet from ascended mantis work on my jug yesterday.
Edit: wrong topic
Made a short video on how to place your GEO Bubbles exactly 7.5 away from a mob:
- Enter /gtst 95
- Stand exactly opposite of your tank and look streight at him. Use 1st person camera to help align.
- Select your GEO- spell and hold the CONTROL key.
- Go exactly 4 steps back towards yourself. You can be much further away than in the video. I just stand there for showcase reasons.
- Enjoy your max range Bubble. Might not manage to hit small Mandys maybe, but bigger NMs should definetly be hit.
Disclaimer: Somehow most/all GEO .luas still ignore any ground targeting and still cast the bubble directly on the mob.
Why go through all this effort? The prime example is Maju. If you place your bubble this way, it will be outside of Backdraft range and make the fight way less annoying and more stable. Nothing like backdraft killing your bubbles as BLM is about to unload a DEATH volley.
I am, but not for my GEO which I leveled from 1 to 60 just for the video lolAre you not using Gearswap?
But ya I don't know for sure if it's Gearswap in general or not if someone wants to chip in with some knowledge there.
Someone on my server (Otoa, JP player) has title Onychophora Obliterator. First I've heard of it being killed it. No idea how they did it though.
Onychophora:
- Will counter repeated skillchains with "Doomvoid". AoE instant conal(?) death.
- Wind and Death do well, thunder and ice CAN do well but need way higher macc.
- Absorbs damage during Gorge and Aeolian Void.
- Adds will sometimes gearstrip and instagib the PLD holding them.
- First T1SC will pop 2 adds. T2 SCs will pop more adds while T1 SCs won't. T3 SC popped all remaining adds.
Got it to 80% mostly toying around and wondering wtf is going on. Seems to have some kind of Maju-ish gimick but more complicated. Giving up for today since we really can't wrap our head around it. Tried rotating 4 different T1 SCs but it would doomvoid on repeat.
Vinipata:
- Pops with 2x adds (6 in DATs). One will be glued to main target at first, one can be pulled off. Their HP is pretty low.
- Uses Astralflow 2-5% HP or timed after and resummons them
- Clusterfuck of Naraka AoEs, some 20+
- Can do damage with fire but short windows to actually do damage between the super wonky hate and AoE spam
- Never got it below 90% toying around with 4 spawns.
- We tried to "Ying/Yang" the 2 adds down same time but it was unimpressed.
Does anyone have any tips for Bashmu? We manage to get the first head off easily, but the second doesn't want to budge.
The 1 head is all you need isnt it?
Looks like we managed to figure it out after 5 more minutes of trying anyway. Weaponskilling/skillchains from the appropriate side seems to break the heads. The more you know!
So some fun facts with Bashmu, starts off typically with water spikes. Do thunder dmg and proc it, then soon after it'll have ice spikes, do fire dmg and proc it. Never have to worry about spikes for the rest of the fight. Combine that with removing a key head and it becomes a complete pushover and a 2 minute fight.
Fun fact regarding complete immunity:
Gulltop, the t1 from Zi'tah, completely resists silence (according to my battlemod message).
Not sure if true or glitch, but I can land every other debuff that a BLM/RDM gets access to with no issues.
