No one has really established a system for that.

Some do clockwise/anticlockwise...

When I tank, I let the other groups go first and then run to the vacant moth/malboro; then flag my group over politely.

I'll just continue what I'm doing then since I'm not going to sit with a thumb up my ass waiting on the counter-clockwise group to finish killing their mobs so the malboro spawns, when I can just grab 'mine' immediately when my group spawns it.

Just place a marker betweeen which knot and which marlboro you want before running in. I've had no problems since I started doing that.

So what's the tanking etiquette for Malboro in the second trash pack? I was under the impression you grab the one your group spawns clockwise from the two wamouras your kill, and drag it back to where your camp's knot spawns so melee can bounce between 'em, but every group I've tanked in the past two weeks were saying I've been grabbing the wrong Malboro. There must be some stupid unwritten inefficient strat I'm unaware of.

It appears to be: tank literally everything yourself because 2 out of 3 tanks will inevitably be jerkoffs who are too lazy/timid/high to do their jobs at all so the mob rampages around ganking casters and dps until someone who's willing to actually take responsibility and tank picks up the slack.
