I just hope we don't spend the next 3 weeks with them being all depressed about it and doing nothing to either avenge or move on. As is, it kinda seemed like a boss pack found them, which upped the ante from the regular goblins. Preview at least seemed to indicate they might try to recruit another healer with the blue haired girl(?) at the end.

It went down slightly different in the LN version, which I assume they changed since it would take too long to animate.

In the LN version they scouted them out and made the decision to engage them knowing they were likely stronger than normal goblins. Discovered it was more than they bargained for but stayed in to try and force out a win. Finally decided to disengage and retreat when they were all already exhausted. Heals already wasted during fight, so nothing left for himself.

Basically, they made bad calls and had to pay for it. Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

Missed the beginning of the season so I have been flipping through the thread checking out recommended shows.

Whoever recommended luck and logic should have a rusty chainsaw jammed up their ass and then turned on. Jesus christ I dont even think it was gulk, I'd expect this shit from him, but fuck.

Like I'd understand the appeal to certain people if it had more T&A. As it is its just like another guilty crown derivative like they have made every season since that show aired. The original sucked, and every show theyve made in the same vein in the seasons afterword has just gotten worse. Now we get this shit. I'd rather watch Jersey Shore.

So finished the first episode. For me at least, felt like I was watching Valkyrie Drive without the over the top make out session. Also, "Last Finish Final Drive!!!!1111" definitely gave me a damn good laugh. Otherwise, I was playing a great game of Sudoku.

Not a perfect 5/7 but worth a binge watch when the season is over I think.

Man, I wish I could have gotten into Valk Drive. It just didn't do anything for me.
At least that saved me from the (supposed) crushing disappointment of the series not living up to expectations.

Also, saw that there was Barakamon news. Turns out it's just to announce that the prequel manga about Handa in highschool is getting an anime, which is a shame. I'd much rather a 2nd season
