For like the solid 5 minutes that was happening I was just staring at the screen wondering if in Erasedland when you sit in a car seat you lose the ability to move up and down.

Kiku's Shinigami scene was incredible, and in the context of the master's death probably the best choice of a story. Now that we're starting to come around to the first episode again I'm wondering if I should go rewatch it.

I was thinking the same thing. Wanted to watch the first couple episodes again just to go full circle with the storyline. Series is fantastic, easily one of the shows I look forward to most every week

Not really a huge anime watcher, but I'm a sucker for a great story.

Netflix had up Your Lie in April (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso). Telegraphed story line (with a gentle twist), but very well told. I'm glad I gave it a shot.

Of all the twists they could've done, I totally didn't expect that to happen. And it raises so many more questions about the backstory too, like did Gintoki/Katsura/Shinsuke know this about their master before the "beheading"?
