I'd imagine neither side wants that information. Not that you really need it to know gun control needs to happen.

CNN reporting that the wife allegedly pledged allegiance to the ISIS leader over Facebook, however it was on a different account with a different name. No indication yet as to what proof there is to show that the account was hers. Seems that even though CNN briefly mentioned Nicholas Thalasinos, they glossed over the fact that he would go on political rants on his twitter and Facebook and has been known to compare Muslims to Nazi's. Seems more like workplace related violence than some kind of ISIS threat. Dude probably snapped after hearing so much trash talk about Muslims and just decided to go on a rampage.
Edit: Also what was mentioned earlier, Thalasinos got a threatening message on his Facebook account before the shooting so there is that as well.
Such a statistic would probably tell you more about the people who committed the crime then anything else really. Like who is patient enough to do it legally but still has some immediacy to it to the point where that is the sole reason for the purchase
When did it become okay for the news to broadcast this type of shit? (mother of shooter's personal ID/SSN shown)

Horrible.
Apparently the media bum-rushed the landlord and invited themselves inside the shooter's apartment/crime scene to go through all their shit. WTF.

Wait is that even legal? That's practically tampering with potential evidence
All three of these dumbfuck stations are in the house rummaging through shit like some bizarre reality TV show. This is the definition of a media circus. MSNBC, Fox, and CNN reporting on baby's toys, popsicles, and other banal shit inside a crime scene with no clearance.
I wasn't aware total gun deaths had been exceeded by total car deaths, though I know it's been getting closer? This is more a function of cars getting safer than guns getting more dangerous though. The deaths per billion miles driven is way, way down the last 30 years.
You're still FAR more likely to die in a car accident than by a gun. Unless you're an older white male with mental health issues, then you *might* be more likely to shoot yourself with a gun, but I'd have to look it up.
That is awesome. These networks and the landlord is fucked to high hell.
In total we have what...3 WTF moments?
1. The local station here in SoCal on scene when shit went down interviewing family members on air and then asking them to call their loved ones who survived the attack so that the field reporter can interview them over speakerphone
2. The media broadcasting the mother of the shooter's personal ID/SSN on air
3. The media is going thru the shooters home, which is basically an active crime scene
CBS LA spoke with the landlord and he told them that the media rushed in after he opened it up and we're not invited in.
In 2013:
So a mere 168 more auto deaths than firearm deaths in 2013, but the way each is trending it's likely that in either 2014 or 2015 guns surpassed autos.Motor vehicle traffic deaths
Number of deaths: 33,804
Deaths per 100,000 population: 10.7
All firearm deaths
Number of deaths: 33,636
Deaths per 100,000 population: 10.6
I can't find 2014 gun deaths, but 2014 auto deaths fell to 33,675. If gun deaths rose at all in 2014 they likely surpassed it.
I wonder how much the landlord could've charged to let a news crew in. $20k per? 100k for exclusive access to one network? What do you think?
