I know, I think Henry will have a decent enough career even if expectations are too high right now

FSU to pay out $950k to the woman who accused James Winston of rape and must host anti sexual assault classes for the next 5 years. In trade they deny wrong doing and she drops her lawsuit.

Maty Mauk, Mizzou QB, suspended for a 3rd time. This time because of a video posted on twitter that shows someone who looks like him snorting Cocaine and his name is mentioned in the tweet.

Not happy that FSU essentially paid "go away" money to that woman instead of fighting it but almost every legal expert I've read on the subject has agreed it is the most cost effective move for the university in the long run. And holy hell did her lawyers clean her out, jebus.

    http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-re...-rowes-health/

The following statements are from ESPN reporter Holly Rowe and ESPN President John Skipper. Rowe, who joined ESPN on a regular basis in 1998, primarily covers college football, men’s and women’s’ college basketball and softball as a reporter, as well as the NBA and WNBA. She is renowned in the industry for her strong work commitment and thoughtful reporting.

    FROM HOLLY ROWE:
“I wanted to share some personal news as I face a new challenge ahead. In May, I had a tumor in my chest removed and I have recently learned that there is a new tumor, which needs to be removed via surgery today. In the coming days, I will know more about what potential additional steps I may take to address this situation.

“I am very grateful for the support of my bosses at ESPN, who are fully behind me as I take the time to beat this, as well as the incredible connections to The V Foundation. I also sincerely appreciate the guidance of colleague Shelley Smith, who battled cancer so courageously last year.

“I once ran a marathon and as I was struggling to finish, I said to the strangers on the side of the road, who were there to cheer for others, ‘my name is Holly, can you cheer for me too?’ I know I can conquer anything with prayer, love, positive energy and the support of good people behind me, and I am thankful for my son and amazing family.

“I hope to be back at work soon doing what gives me so much joy in life.”

    FROM JOHN SKIPPER:
“Every time I run into Holly Rowe at a game, it is a delight. It is also a display of professionalism, teamwork and work ethic. She is admired and respected by her colleagues at ESPN and her peers throughout the industry. We all wish Holly and her loved ones well in this effort. We know how strong she is, we are with her and we look forward to her return.”
God damn cancer in 2016 is the fucking worst

The fact she has cancer sucks, but god damn I cannot stand that woman for any length of time while shes on the sidelines.

"Yes, this cement wall is really hard. See what happens when I pound on it?"
"It is so hot here right now guys, that everyone on X sideline is really drinking fluids trying very hard to stay hydrated. It's just so hot out here right now."

Urgh. Like the female John Madden of pointless sideline comments.

Ever changing throughout the day but presently FSU, Texas, LSU, and Alabama are in a close race for best signing class today.

Well, now ESPN is saying FSU is #1 and Alabama is #2. Not important in the grand scheme of things, both schools got amazing classes. Just weird how they use different criteria apparently.

Rivals and ESPN differ a lot in rankings, at least they did when I used to follow it religiously

All of the class rankings are irrelevant, because noone else signed Elijah Holyfield.

Uab was given a 62 rating by 247 sports. They don't even field a team until 2017
