Aren't there normally a handful of craptacular bowl games the next few days, like MAC vs. Conference USA type games? I take it they changed that this year so there's nothing after Jan 2 except the NCG?

It's a little weird there's not a game every day now, but I think I'm OK with it.

With all the press about ratings taking like a 35% hit over last year, expect them to revert back to how it was for next year.

Alabama losing Mel Tucker to Kirby and UGA. Which makes sense since I thought he'd get the DC job and Pruitt is capable of coaching the secondary(though I liked how Tucker did this year). Auburn loses their defense staff to South Carolina(duh) but takes Kevin Steele from LSU (One burning ship to another but he'll become fully vested through the Alabama teachers retirement fund). Miss state lost Manny Diaz to the U a little while ago, but I think Ed Orgeron is leaving LSU due to Aranda becoming DC. Surprisingly, LSU gave an extension to Cam Cameron?! wtf I thought Les would cut his throat to try and salvage his job. Sumlin cut Spavital and looks to be hiring Mazzone from UCLA, but rumor is Sumlin is looking to get into the NFL.
