if i wanted to invest that money i would've spent it on something other than clothes! have you ever spent money on PC parts? a car? a hobby of any kind? anything else that instantly depreciates in value the moment you open it? same shit here. my main hobby the last couple years has been fashion. my office is full time casual dress so i can actually get a lot of mileage out of all the weird shit i buy. i get a lot of gratification out of dressing up, it's something i can have fun with every day.

i haven't been spending at all in the last 4 months, so i've got plenty of fun money stocked up. secondhand tabis don't even go that low, and i've wanted a pair for ages so it was a no-brainer.
