I generally wear American Eagle jeans if I'm in a jean mood (Extreme Flex 2 comfy) so not like I can judge your choice.

raw selvedge is actually a shocking amount of work compared to just buying mall jeans, but the end product is a shitload nicer and doesn't fall apart after 6-12 months of regular use. my cheapo unbranded 201s at $80 will probably be a net savings in the long run over buying/replacing what i normally used to buy (prob can't say the same for the pair of rogue territory i picked up last month though, lol).

i will say though, i do somewhat miss being able to buy jeans without having to deal w/ measuring tapes and sizing charts because every goddamned brand has 4 different vanity sizing systems

every black Friday I buy 2 pairs of American Eagle jeans. They may only last a year but holy shit are they good for price.

I pretty much only wear black jeans now so 90% of the time the selvage wouldn't even be noticeable, I also rarely cuff my jeans so I haven't bought selvage since like 2015. hell yea for savings fam.

Yeah I have 511 for sure but I feel like I also have 508 510 515 or some other numbers I don't even know. I have some boot cut mostly straight leg a couple skinny that I don't wear lol. I don't cuff everrrrrr.

I've always been larger in the thigh and calf area so even at my skinniest I could never wear straight leg and cannot (and would not) ever wear skinny jeans. I've always like CK and Nautica as they seemed good for the price. Every now and again I could snatch some Polo if the price was right. I haven't wore jeans in awhile though since it's hot and muggy in Michigan. I wear primarily Dickies shorts with the Boost shell toes. If I'm lazy I'll wear my Teva sandals that I bought in 2008. Those sandals are still cushiony and comfy as can be.

Recently got my Clarks. I didn't realize the black shoes were Bostonian. Regardless, both are super comfy and two pair for $100 total was nice.

Been making a conscious effort to diversify my portfolio and getting a wide variety of silhouettes, but finally had to double down cause the new Explorer colorway for the Vapormax is just too dope.

It's definitely an out there look, but I like it and they're fucking comfy.

Speaking of out there shit, just got the foams in, hell yeah.

Also, I grew up doing track/cross country in the NW, so Nike is basically my own personal god. Outside of shoes I don't fuck with any athletic gear that doesn't have a swoosh on it. Extending off that I'll rock almost anything Nike on my feet.

Hell yes. I bought a house last month so I've just been pillaging sales, mainly that adidas jam from earlier this month.

those are pretty sweet! i like the look of the racers in general, i'll definitely be getting a pair eventually but i need to calm it down again. after ordering the docs i also impulse ordered a pair of the airmax '97s in gold because i have a guitar that matches them perfectly and decided that's a good reason to order a pair of shoes. i might just hang on to them for a bit and try to resell them back as i'm not sure i can see myself wearing them out, but i'm waiting to see how they look in person
