alright bg sneaker fam something happened that i am not proud of in several ways. i got a text a couple days ago from DHL with tracking info and i was intensely confused because i already got both of the DHL things i'd ordered off grailed pre-ban.

once it updated and showed a package coming from hong kong i was still baffled as hell, i looked through my emails and couldn't find any order confirmations, but eventually i turned up a transaction on my credit card from a couple weeks ago from a chinese merchant. chances of a fraudulent charge going out to china shortly before a package gets addressed to my house are slim to none, so i figure i definitely did something. the timing lined up right when my week off started so i clearly must've got trashed and ordered something dumb

well, it updated to delivered this morning so i had to sit at work all day puzzling over wtf i'd done to myself. got home shortly after 5 and uhhhhh

it's a bad photo, they're actually very good in terms of replica quality! the different sole units are actually supposed to have those gaps. they overdo the distressing compared to retail, but it washes off so you can dial it back to make it look correct lol. the main flaw i can spot is the size indicator stitching on the toe cap isn't aligned correctly. but yeah they are still some goofy ass looking triple s no matter how well rendered they are :\

yeah i'm not too worried about that, central massachusetts is a style wasteland so nobody will have any clue wtf it is in the first place. i was just checking out a thrift shop nearby and i can only describe the t-shirt rack as the most worcester selection of clothing i've ever seen, lol. nothing but ICP, hed-pe, mudvayne, and other assorted late 90s/early 2000s nu-metal/radio rock.

solid! no such thing as too many options in black tbh, i just counted and i'm now up to 9 pairs that are primarily black. pretty much all i've been wearing this winter, plus some greys in the mix. except that 70 degree day a couple weeks ago, i broke out the pink kith nemeziz UBs for that, and then promptly stashed them back in their box until actual springtime rolls around.

I don't have any black shoes anymore. I'm not sure why, they go with everything.

I've got funky colors, grey, brown, and white. I want to wear the whites much more, but the weather has been so shit lately that I can't get myself to do it.

I’ve so few black sneakers it’s kind of stunning, especially since I basically wear all black. chucks, high top AF-1s for basketball, and some high top Vans. Also have some prime knit superstar beaters.

I really like the soles on the Federer shoes, my main motivation for wanting those.

I'm going by the mall today so if they have some Vapor 97s I'll take a look, but at least from pics I'm not feeling the design. I love the Vapormax sole but it looks pretty whack paired with a 97 upper.

AM97 upper has really grown on me over the last few months. Might have to fuck around and track down some silver bullets. Between you, Mori, and me we will officially have a BG bullet club.
