By about week 8 this season when it was clear the Packers offense was broken, I wasn't anticipating much of a chance at all of getting to the NFC championship game, so the idea that any of Seattle, Arizona or Carolina playing us in round 2 would coast to a victory is much of a surprise.

Without both starting tackles healthy, a team like Arizona will completely destroy the Packers O-Line - I mean we were playing a guy I've literally never heard of at RT in the 2nd half for a while there, and I'm a pretty informed fan. It would've taken a ton of breaks for the Packers to stay competitive in that game, but the INT in the endzone followed by the Cardinals march to make it 17-0 at the half was the backbreaker. Once they had to abandon the run with no edge protection the rest was hopeless.

If the Bengals win tonight and everything else goes as it should, KC will take the division and Jets get in as #5. Which means they get to play Houston.

Does any winning team have a worse red zone offense than Denver's had this year? I'm not even sure that the Tebow led Broncos left me feeling this hopeless about their scoring chances.

It's not just weird passing-- it's dropped passes, it's an inept running game, it's a porous O-Line. Even with Manning as QB, the offense was anemic all season.

I'm just so use to spending the second half getting drunk and angry.. This is an unfamiliar feeling.

I just get depressed and fatalistic and remember 4 of the 6 Super Bowls Denver's been in my life.

I love this defense when it's on fire like this. They are nasty.
