I didn't like Tactics either, I enjoyed the battle system but the entire game felt more like some kind of weird battle simulator than an actual game, I didn't like that you couldn't control a character on a map like previous games and there was 0 exploration or anything gamelike except battles, and the entire story felt like some long drawn-out "Spoony Bard" battle dialogue from FF4 so I just couldn't follow it or care. If they had pulled the FFT battle system and put it in a real game I could have enjoyed it, instead it was stripped of everything but battles which was a huge turn-off

I actually enjoyed 2, the leveling system is reminiscent of the skillup system in FFXI which I also liked. The 13 saga however is definitely garbage

The only sin Tactics commit was becoming a watered down mess in Advance only to redeem itself with Advance 2. All three are inferior to Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together though.

X-2 and XIII-2 are pretty similar to eachother in that the gameplay is really fun but the story shit the bed. Lightning Returns is so depressing it's story could describe the Final Fantasy brand. Collect everything good and let the Lightning era die to be reborn again in XV.

after hearing about the slight revisions on the script that changed some things like the child saying "you dwapped this" to "you dropped this" I was kinda afraid that this might have been snipped out but I'm glad its still in haha.

Trying to catch the Pluto knight at the beginning of the game w/Steiner, in that main hall, was really annoying with touch controls. Can imagine some of the mini-games are frustrating too.

There's a lag with hot n cold, it's not exactly very smooth.
Jump rope seemed easier with the touchscreen, however.
Sometimes running around on the screen gets messy when trying to select the !icon if you're off it'll run off towards where you touched.
None of it is a very big deal breaker though. I am having fun getting to play this game all over again.
The continue option has been a nice addition, replaying certain events like beatrix fights to steal her items is easier because of it

It's alright, not smooth but it's not frustrating. I still could do a chain 8 on my first visit.
