You know I don't think I've ever actually tried using her Thunder Slash when she's a party member, since the "that ability sucks, why not just use Climhazzard or Shock or Holy -- they're way, way better" argument always came into play.
That being said, I both defer to you and totally believe you. Tyrath's explanation would fit: for "reasons," her Thunder Slash as a PC relinquishes all its accuracy to Steiner's Iai Strike; her Thunder Slash damage as an NPC does not.

This game was coded 16~17 years ago. What a wonderful and stupid thing for us to nitpick over. I love this game.

Just got to Treno with Steiner/Garnet and HOLY SHIT Blood Sword is OP....
I picked it up, first thing I did with it was the monster battle in the weapon shop. Fought some Griffin type monster with Steiner, every time it attacked him it would take his HP from full to yellow. Than he would attack and max his HP back out because the Blood Sword healed the same amount of HP as he attacked for, lmao. I love this sword. XD

I think there's a misunderstanding here. I was asking if Thunder Slash was fixed for players and the earliest chance to test that is when Beatrix joins your party and is able to use Thunder Slash. The only other way is to hack the weapon for Steiner to equip or have him with the ability (can't see that happening on a phone.) I used all her abilities when I played because I just thought she was the coolest character ever lol. One of the main reasons I won't like the mobile port as much because I can't hack her into the party . There are also a few game edits that can alter the code for Thunder Slash and just make it work normally, I forget where I found it (gamefaqs for Beatrix single playthru I think.)

Ah, I understand now. Yeah, we won't be able to do much manipulation until the Steam release. It's cool you could do an entire Beatrix-only run like that, never knew someone went through the trouble.

Yeah, use it to skillup in Gargan Roo on Crawlers. 1x Crawler is 2 AP, 2x is 3 AP. Dagger should have just gotten Ability Up, so those values double for her; both her and Steiner have some catching up to do since the story has focused on the Burmecia party for the last several hours, so this is a great place to do it.

Look at it this way too, your phone you have on you all the time, you can pick it up anywhere and play for like 5 minutes if you get time. PC stays ay home.

That's today's conversion. It's not great. And just 4 years ago the Canadian Dollar was the strongest it had been in many decades, trading 1:1 with the US Dollar, was even briefly stronger than USD.

But then it started a swan dive in mid-2014 and has yet to recover. That's one of the reasons new PM Trudeau is legalizing recreational marijuana: the massive boon in tax revenue and tourism it will bring may help bolster the Canadian Dollar until the US catches up with policy and ends prohibition too.

If any of you work in an office that does business with Canada in any capacity, you're already well aware of the shit they're dealing with right now. We give our Canadian clients breaks all the time: 10% discounts, leniency on collections, an entirely separate price sheet from our domestic US clients.

Also, one of my coworkers downloaded the iOS version. Has a lot of features I didn't know about, specifically in-battle. There are buttons you can toggle on/off that let you do things like auto-fight (the party spams Attack only), and another where you can make all 4 players instantly enter and remain in Trance for the entirety of the battle, never depleting the gauge.

Pretty broken, but I suppose they're there for casuals who just want to buy the game and check out all the super cool abilities they never earned when they quit the game to play The Sims and GTA3 and Pokemon Gold/Silver and Majora's Mask and Black & White and Conker and Tony Hawk 2 and SC3K and Melee and RollerCoaster Tycoon and then Playstation 2 had Ico and FF10 and.... 2000/2001 was a real good time for gaming, people quit FF9 for lots of good reasons.

Black & White w/ Isles of Creation was so good, so much side content in each level that had you going back to play more. I wish B&W2 took a similar approach

I am noticing that steals are just as frustratingly bad as the original. Have yet to steal from rare or above in fights, which really only appear to affect the Beatrix fights and her items...
It's annoying, but hasn't been a big problem since nothing is steal only so far.

So i gave up and bought the game on my Iphone6S/Ipad mini2

But how can I access the cloud save feature to share my save between my Ipad Iphone? Option is grayed out on both devices, and I'm logged in on the same Icloud account/Gamecenter on both devices.

When I go to the save menu I don't see an cloud one
