registration numbers with 8 days left to sign up. Last year in the final weekend of registration over 700 people signed up. So uhh this is gonna be scary huge when all said and done.

All the marquee names from 4 are all now fighting for that Sony money. So no shit, it wont be making a comeback.

But the moment the Sony money well dries up, 4 will make a comeback like you've never seen.

4 lived off hype and grassroot movement for damn near 7 years.

Turd Fighter 5 is already losing steam despite all the promotion and money being pumped into it, being artificially kept alive through empty promises of new characters to string people along. And the game is only a few months old.

Once the money for 5 dries up, I have a feeling Capcom will have to sell the IP and 6/rebranded SF will take hold. Four won't make a strong comeback in the tourney scene because too many Americans and Europeans are dreadful at the game compared to Asia. The top players won't support it because outside of Smug, Dieminion, Knuckledu, Snake, and 801 the players are mostly scrap metal.

Played it all night last night, but I don't really know much about it yet. I've only played with 2 characters. It is certainly fun, but I need people to play with who use voice chat.
