Eh, I'd go if you guys wanted to plan like a BG room. I feel bad not going.. I just don't have a huge drive to but I will regret not going the second I start reading stream chat from home.

Esports has gone too far.
Scar, a MKX player, has been signed by Panda Global, and his contract includes a "No Fatality" clause. He can neither perform fatalities, and if his opponent performs a fatality on him, he has to quit the match so it won't be shown on stream.
Panda updated saying that he doesn't have to quit if fatalities are preformed on him. Him not doing them is meant to bring better funding to Panda events.
Update to the update: Fatality clause deleted completely, he can do what he wants.
I'm not going to lie. I'm against Capcom's new policy on alcohol sponsors. At least those exist elsewhere with precedent. YP is a harder sell, and fuck vaping.
This on the other hand? This was plain fucking stupid. Especially when you consider that they only banned fatalities, but still allowed for X-Ray attacks and Brutalities? They tried to justify it as saying it would scare off sponsors. Bullshit. I could name at least 5 other things that would scare off sponsors well before we got into MK's content.
Man vaping gets such a brutal rap these days.
Though it's totally deserved since alot of people seem so determined to be douches about it. I haven't had a cigarette in 8 months and it's 100% because of vaping, but I also treat it the same way as cigarettes in terms of where and when I use it.
Course FDA regulation kicks in soon and is gonna ass rape the entire industry. Gonna have to go cold turkey on nicotine from there on out most likely.
How dare you BR! I vape my Mary Jane all day son!
This is pathetic, but the ESL MKX stream is 100x better than any SFV stream I've watched lol.
Does anyone in the fgc even come close to matching the amount of money SonicFox has made these last couple years?
Not a chance lol
Daigo does and eclipses SonicFox by a wide margin. My company alone paid Daigo a fuck ton of money just to be a speaker at several engagements. He has like 7 or 8 different streams of income. Before Daigo had the manga, Twitch, Redbull, or corporate engagements, he had a house in Shinagawa and an apartment in Shinjuku. That is easily 4-5k a month in mortgage before any other bills.
Daigo GAVE AWAY 60k for the fuck of it. The end.
Oh yeah if you count like, real revenue streams and not games themselves lol, Daigo probably made more off his book than every winner of SF games at EVO combined
Someone made a list on Kappa, and just from ESL and Evo 2015 Sonic has pulled in about $230k. Which is pretty goddamn sick for a kid who just graduated high school like a month ago.
Pretty much the best part is that the kid looks like he's always having fun. Always smiling.
Man and he keeps it 100% real too. Dude basically called Perfect Legend trash after the 10-0 and 13-0. When asked "did you have it in the bag the whole time?" after last night's win he responded, "yeah I basically knew I had it won the whole time". Lmao get fucked other players.
It's so amusing watching a teenage furry just annihilating the game over and over again, talking mad shit, and no one can say or do a goddamn thing about it.
I think the worst he's ever placed in a major in MKX is like 4th? And before that he had like a year and a half straight of dominating Injustice and being like top 2/3 in the world at Skullgirls.
He is also the best DOA player ever, if that counts.
Then who is? Like every tournament I see that he enters he comes in 1st lol. I've also heard PL say as much in person. You probably would watch DOA lol.
