Since the ESPN thing is bringing in extra eyes I've made sure to tell anyone planning to watch too also catch GG top 8 because it will likely be insane. The results so far are definitely reinforcing that.

Is there gonna be somewhere online I can watch the ESPN stream without having cable? Because I really don't want to listen to Skisonic fuck up the commentary for a grand finals at Evo.

I'm gonna assume that UltraChen is gonna be the stream commentators since Seth/Ross are doing ESPN. Also, Poongko is fucking insane. Second tournament that he has entered for Tekken 7 (first was the CEO auction) and he's in top8 Winners, hot damn.

I have a love/hate relationship with T7. It was amazing when it came out in arcades, but then Namco went full NRS. They patched it a bunch, broke a ton of stuff, and the player base dropped off hard. I gave up on the game when it was Paul vs. Paul every match a few months back.

Aris was talking about it earlier, but apparently him and Knee both have access to their own personal copies of the game so they have unlimited practice time.

Akuma goes against everything that is Tekken, but Jesus christ is he an entertaining character to watch
