The spelling bee does relatively well given what it is on a yearly basis, and has been on TV for quite a while.

SFV/FGC events on TV do not have 'more of a future' based on literally the biggest event of the year getting about 200k viewers.

Anyway, 200k on ESPN2 based on the content is okay. It's nothing great, but it's a good start. The problem in it though is it was for EVO, so it's not exactly something that's stable or anything. We'll have to see where it goes from here.

It's very decent. Double what Heroes of the Dorm got and EPN2 has a much smaller average viewership base than the other channels that have previously aired esports content.

The last half of this is wrong. ESPN2 has a larger audience as it stands than TBS which airs E-League.

In 2015 (most recent number I could find) ESPN 2 was in 92 million homes, TBS was in 95 million.

So, unless something has changed that's actually flat out wrong.

This was more of a reference to Calli's remark that TBS has a larger reach, so to speak, than ESPN2 and I just wanted to show that it wasn't the case. Now whether people actually watch the channels or not.. who knows. I know at least in this instance, I watched it both on twitch and on TV, but yeah. All of this is just super interesting to me.

If it isn't already, this game gets more and more impressive when you notice the stage graphics and little details the added. Dizzy is by far the most incredible looking character next to Jam's insane animations.

I guess they aren't expecting nearly the same numbers as the east coast majors because that venue would never be able to hold Final Round or CEO numbers.
