It's not like Daigo hasn't lost to other players that were deemed less skilled than him before. Marn comes to mind.
Daigo's a professional author, you can't expect him to be good at games too
Replace author with streamer and that's your fallback when you lose?
No mine is that I'm retired lol
That certainly works
In all seriousness I still play casually pretty often but SFV just has no interest to me competitively atm and if I'm going to put in the time grinding the shit out of a new game I'd rather it be Overwatch than KOF or Revelator
No one plays revelator.![]()
EVO Japan news via 4Gamer:
EVO Japan, LLC formed.
3 Japanese groups have invested $1M USD in a 45/45/10 split.
- Hearts United (subsidiary of Aetas). They own 4Gamer and asociated with Kadokawa-Dwango. The latter own Nicovideo. Hoping it's not on Nico.
- Shochiku Broadcasting. Possible JPN TV deal?
- Eitas, who has partnered with EVO US (under SRKX, LLC). They're the minor investment share.
so are wiz et al involved in the event in any real capacity, or is evo japan more or less a brand licensing deal?
Read the whole thread for a solid punchline: https://twitter.com/dapurplesharpie/...45555398197248

One thing that I do wonder about EvoJapan is if it'll be an all console tournament or since it's going to be in Japan if it'll have some Arcade games in it's lineup.
