Fuuuck. What the hell happened?
39 studio albums from that sexy motherfucker. Insane.
*Prince*
He influenced so much of my creative and artistic life as a kid all the way through adulthood. Such an omni talented artist he will be missed. I wasn't ready for this kind of news today, sigh. If there is a place after this life, I am certain he is rocking it with Bowie!![]()
Blouses lose![]()

Just came here to post this. Not a huge fan of his music but he was a music legend regardless. R.I.P.
The Current will by playing nothing but Prince tracks starting at 1 and running until 10 - http://www.thecurrent.org/listen
It's like we got a new Grim Reaper for the celebrity department who loves his job a little too much.
First Ave tonight already has a sold out with Slipknot lead, Corey Taylor, doing an acoustic set. The local artist & music communities are asking them to cancel it for a Prince tribute.

Pretty much all I have to say right now
I was never really a Prince fan, but the dude was an amazing performer and a stellar guitarist. Can't help but respect the guy.

my contribution at First Ave:
(stupid camera phone. they're purple, I assure you).
My Icon, My Hero, My Legend. Is no longer among us. As a child growing up in the deep south, he was so many things to me. A star in the heavens by which to navigate. He was always true to himself and to his art no matter which direction the musical trends went. Such a dynamic stage presence. I will NEVER forget him and his music will live on within me and many others all the days of our lives. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us. Rest well my Prince.
So I guess "Good night, sweet Prince" can finally be put to accurate use.![]()
